Is there any way to derive digital audio from the LCD TV which gets HDMI input from the DVD player?.

I think there is no LCD TVs that have digital audio. Is there another method to derive digital audio data from the LCD TV so that I can hook up to I was 5 1-channel AV receiver? LCD TV speakers really suck. Some LCD TVs have different audio output (RCA) jack. This will help some, but that is again similar, and thus low quality audio.
