Japanese Government & Japan Graduates Association of Malaysia (JAGAM) along with "ASEAN Council of Japan Alumni (ASCOJA)" offered "scholarship (Japanese Government Scholarship Students with ASCOJA recommendation)"
for Master or PhD course for the April 2011.
"Malaysians scholars who are under 35 years of age as of 1st April 2011 and are degree holders with 16 years of formal education or undergraduates who are in the final year at their respective universities are eligible to apply.
During the term of the scholarship.
Monthly allowance is 152,000 yen. + Travelling Allowance.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
Be Malaysian passport holders
Under 35 years of age as of 1st April 2011
Be university or college graduates, ideally a first class or second upper honours degree holder (CGPA must be at least 3.20 out of 4.0).
Have good command of Japanese language AND/OR English
language, preferably those possessing valid TOEFL, IELTS or TOIEC certificate.
The study area must be in the same field as the applicant has studied (or is now studying) or is working in a related field.
Be willing to learn Japanese language and (to) receive university instruction in Japanese.
Those who will graduate from a university or college by March or September 2010 may apply.
Amount:
Monthly 152,000 Yen.
