How do I guard my LCD TV from my cat?.

I have an LCD television hanging on the wall, and my cat will not stop jumping on him, probably because it high and warm. The problem is that I’m not sure how robust the wall mount, and he sometimes slips and scratches to the screen. How do I know him from climbing on them? He did not even react to loud noises, sprinkled with water, aluminum foil or double-sided tape. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
